Built for the systems
a range already runs on.

We didn’t build a payment processor and we didn’t build an e-commerce platform. BigCommerce and Stripe already do those better than we would. Rangune is the range operation that plugs into both, so the website, the front desk and the money all work off one set of lanes.

BigCommerce Integration live

Storefront · catalog · checkout

BigCommerce is the storefront. Rangune is the lanes.

BigCommerce is the one major platform that welcomes firearms retail, and it is where ranges with a pro shop already live. Rangune joins it as an app: lane time, memberships, rentals and classes become products a customer buys the same way they buy a box of 9mm.

  • A booking modal on the product page: no redirect, no second site
  • Lane time, rentals and classes go in the same cart as ammo and gear, checked out once
  • Guest checkout: no store account required, because the waiver is the identity that matters
  • Waivers issue automatically once the order is paid
  • Availability still comes from Rangune, so the store can never sell a lane that is gone
  • Connect with a store API account; nothing to install on the storefront theme

Stripe Integration live

Payments · Connect · subscription billing

Stripe moves the money. It never passes through us.

Stripe Connect is how a range gets paid without handing its revenue to a middleman. You onboard your own Stripe account, you are the merchant of record, and the charge goes from your customer to your bank. Rangune bills you a subscription and takes nothing from a booking.

  • Stripe Connect onboarding from Settings: your account, your name on the statement
  • Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay on the booking page and in the BigCommerce cart
  • Memberships renew through Stripe Billing, with failed-payment retries handled there
  • Deposits, full prepay or pay-at-the-counter, set per product rather than per customer
  • Refunds issued from the reservation, not from a separate dashboard
  • 0% of your bookings: Stripe’s processing rate is the only per-transaction cost

MadFish One Sister product

MadFish Armory · web development

MadFish One builds the website. Rangune runs the range.

MadFish One is the web development side of MadFish Armory: BigCommerce storefronts built for firearms retail, with the category structure, the compliance pages and the merchandising a range with a pro shop actually needs. When the same team builds the website and the booking system, the two are wired together from day one instead of reconciled afterwards.

  • Storefronts on BigCommerce designed for how people shop for range time, optics and ammo
  • Lane time, memberships and classes merchandised properly, not bolted on as an afterthought
  • Rangune connected at launch: one catalog, one set of lanes, one checkout
  • Fixed price, built with you on a live call, taken live fast
  • Built and run by the same team, so there is one number to call for the site and the lanes

IronRegister Connector in development

MadFish Armory · point of sale and bound book

Iron Register runs the counter. Rangune runs the lanes.

Iron Register is the point of sale and bound book for gun shops, the other half of MadFish Armory. A shop with a range should not run two systems that have never heard of each other, so the two are being built to share a customer record rather than to compete for one.

  • Lane time, rentals, memberships and classes rung up at the counter as ordinary line items
  • One customer record: the shooter with a waiver on file is the same person at the register
  • Membership status at checkout, so member pricing applies without anyone being asked
  • Rental firearms keep their bound-book entry; range checkouts add note events to it
  • Serialised-firearm compliance stays entirely on the Iron Register side. Rangune never touches it

Connector in development

Rangune runs standalone today and does not require Iron Register. This is what the two products will share when the connector ships. We would rather say that plainly than draw a screenshot of something that is not built yet.

How it fits together

One system decides
whether a lane is free.

The rule that keeps a range from selling lane 5 twice: exactly one system is the authority on availability. Your booking page asks Rangune. Your BigCommerce store asks Rangune. The walk-up screen at the counter asks Rangune. There is no second calendar to reconcile, because there is no second calendar.

Works for ranges with a BigCommerce store, ranges with only a booking page, and ranges that take most of their business at the counter. It is a setting, not an assumption.

Rangune does not ring up retail and will not ask you to replace the register you have. It sits beside it; the exports reconcile.
